I am needing the father (parentage) of William H. Holt b. abt 1877 in Texas according the the 1930 and 1920 Texas census. He is found to be living in Precinct 3, Nacogdoches, Texas with his wife Mattie E or Martha E and children William E, Mary E E, Jessie B (Bryant?), Edgar M, Joseph H, James A, and Gracie V Holt. There was an older William P. Holt also living nearby without a wife or children who could be old enough to be the father. I believe that this family is from Shelby Co. TX > Mississippi > Abbeville SC > Laurens Co. SC > Granville Co. NC > and descendants of John Holt. I need the father of William H Holt to make the connection. Any help would be appreciated.
