I am the Administrator of the Family Tree DNA Holt Surname Project and I can tell you that the cost for testing through Family Tree DNA direct will be higher than going through the Holt Surname Project at http://www.familytreedna.com/public/holt We have one female researcher who is a member of our project who had a male relative take the test for her. He matches up with the Nicholas Holt DNA but they are still living in England. He is Kit 63919. If you go to my website at http://HoltFamilyDNAproject.com you can also see abbreviated lineages for our membership plus a few who tested through DNA Heritage. I was wondering if one of you is Kit N48033 because I would still like to have your lineage for this very purpose . . . comparison by others but keeping the living persons private. Two of our members are from the same family and they have the NC and TN connections, but they do not know how they might be related to Nicholas. All of the separated groups in the lineage and DNA charts are different unrelated lines. So you see that we have many different Holt lines not just by spelling.
