I can't find Jonathan Theodore Holt (my 3rd great grandfather) before the 1910 census (and prior to marriage). I have found him in the 1910, 20 and 30 census but nothing before that. So, I can't confirm his parents. Here's what I know: Jonathan Theodore (JT) Holt b. 09 Oct 1872 Georgia, USA d. 05 Jul 1953 Asher, Pottawatomie, OK, USA m. 16 Aug 1896 Marietta, Love, OK, USA to Zenith Elvira Mullins He moved from GA to Love Co, OK sometime before 1896 and moved again to Asher, Pottawatomie, OK by 1910. I'm almost certain his father is George A. Holt b. 18 Jan 1852 George, USA d. 12 Jan 1900 Marietta, Love, OK, USA His mother I am less certain about. The George above was married to a Nancy Jane, however family records say JT's mother was Catherine. Two wives have been considered. I have found the George Holt, b. abt. 1852 in Cherokee Co., Georgia that you're bound to run into (1860,1870,1880 census) and, yes, later he is married to a Catherine, but I can't connect him to JT.
