There are alot of Holt's in Knox County that my family doesn't connect to. To my knowledge only my great grandfather and his family came to Knox County and the rest of his extended family remained in Cocke and Greene Counties. Except for the decendents of three sons, Claude B. Holt, Wilmoit Wayne and my grandfather, Edward Earl Holt, none of the Holt's in Knox County are related to my line, to my knowledge. Richard Holt
