Mott, I just read all your information on James Buchanan Holt which don't think or know if fits into my Holt line. I have tried for so long to find my Holt line that I write emails, letters, looking for that small light of hope. I am looking for WM. Martin Holt that was told born 1844 Marshal Co., MS, married Araminta Jane Pounds born 1-1847 Marshal co, Ms. I can trace her line back to England plus from birth until 1900 living with daughter--Addie in Perry co, CHilton. She was living in the 1880 Perry co census with brother (Pounds) and some records show widow but nothing about 11 yr old daughter Addie, 8 yr old son WM Martin Jr. Wm Martin Jr, born 1872 married Nancy Everline Gandy before 1899 when Uncle Willie was born. They came to Bowie Co., TX in 1901 and this is where I come in. I would so appreciate it that if you come across these names that you might would help me. I know everyone has the same desire, drive, addiction to it like I do. I have read so many emails, etc., that I know other Holt's family more than do mine. I have at least ruled out who isn't so guess that is start. Thank you for listening to my rambling but when someone mentions Martin Holt---in any form---I get started.
