Surnames: Norris, Jay, Holt Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Eej.2ACIB/290.325.1 Message Board Post: My great-great-great grandfather was named Wade Hampton Holt, I believe that he was born in 1831 or 1836 in either TN or LA and he was married to a Catherine Schlicht from PA-they were married in Polk Co., IA on April 04, 1853 and that they had 3 children. I know the family history from him on to me, but know nothing of the history from Wade back, like where and when he was really born and who his parents were. I am hoping that since your relative's name was Wade Hampton Holt also, that maybe they are related to each other.
