Hello fellow listers! I have a question about a cemetery inscription on the stone of my great uncle's grave. He's William Henry HOLT b. 1847 d. 1925. Anyway, he's buried in the Matoaca Cemetery in Chesterfield Co., VA. The inscription reads as follows: William H. Holt 1847 1925 Kecoutan Tribe No. 37 Imp'd. O.R.M. Is that having to do with the Kecoughtan Tribe? I don't think we have Native American blood but the inscription sounds funny to me. There are several others buried in this small plot that have that inscription also. Thanks for any information or ideas as to what this means. PS. This inscription was from a cemetery report done by the Works Progress Administration. Gayle Rockelli in Maryland (Clemmons HOLT line, VA)
