    1. Re: [HOLT] Henry Holt a brother to ANOY and ISrael?

    3. YOU GOT MY CURIOSITY UP. Might I suggest that in in the same county as Kendrick is in, there is a Holt listed as ANOY Holt. This got my curiousity up and I had no access to 1850 or 1840 or 1830, so I went to NC where his mother said she was born. There was an Anthony Holt there that could have been her husband and so I then went to Tenessee and there was an Anthony Holt 4 years older than his mother. I wonder if they just split the sheet; Anthony just remarried. Next door to him in 1860 was an Israel Holt and his family in Tennessee. I realize this may be far afield but the name ANOY must have been an abbreviation and my warped sense of thinking through some research problems brought me to this question. Was his name Anthony and was he brother to Kendrick and possibly Kendrick. I think I would look further into this farfetched theory. I've been researching for over 40 years and have seen some strange things happen. Not related to any but Israel Holt has been well researched I believe so possibly someone can fill in another thought.
