Nobody in the current generation has any information on even the name of his wife. There has been some talk that perhaps he may have been born in Cincinnati, OH, but no one can say for sure. Searching will be tough but rewarding when found! Did I tell you Smith L. Holt married Esther Doepel in Ponca City and they lived in Ponca City where the current generation of Holts live?
