Benjamin Matthew Holt b: 1861 in Limestone Co. al., was first married to Mary Sturgeon(12-1-1883) and they had two sons, John and Tushoskie. Mary died giving birth to the younger son. Benjamin moved to Lamar Co. Texas and married Ida Mae Jackson.Those two had nine children and also the two boys from the previous marriage. They both died in Vintia Ok., Ida is buried there and Benjamin was brought to Durant, Ok. by a son and is buried in Highland Cemetery. Benjamin is the son of John William and Lucy Newby Holt. I do intend to get in touch with you, I have added more to this because of the confussion I have seen on the Benjamin Holts. Maybe this might help the other Holts that are searching. jhb
