They were both in Hinds County, MS in the 1830 census. William died in 1836 in Hinds County. His spouse, Rhoda, remarried later and moved to Lauderdale County, MS. There is a record where she gave Stephen a power of attorney in dealing with the estate of William. If I get any further info I will let you know and hope you will do the same.
