    3. Hi, My Holt line comes from the immigrants Henry and Dorcas (Armstrong) Holt immigrated ca1730. They had a son Thomas who was Christened in Christ Church (Episcopal) in Philadelphia, Sept 27, 1733 at one month of age. Thomas, among others, had a son James b1762, married Mary Bratton, left Mifflin Co. Pa. ca1830 and reportedly was killed by indians. I don't know where or when. Could this be your James?     3. I don't believe this is the same,the info I have on James Phillip is from WV.1828.I did however come across another James but he was born 1793 and married Jane Driskill in TN. The most info I have on my Holt Line is from Kanawha Va /WV and Mason Co Kentucky.
