He married Milbra A.L. Owens (Millie) about 1874 in Williamson County. I know she remarried around 1898 but don't know what year Richard died. They had 5 children: Rosetta, Dora, Jimmie, Frances Idella, and Annie. Not sure if these are the kids first names or not. I think that they lived in or around Upshur County for awhile. Don't know if this is YOUR Richard, but can tell you about my Richard's family. Don't know if it will help you or not. My Richard's parents were Jess and Nina Mae [some people spell it May, since that was what she was known by to her friends] . Interesting...Z-hills is not that big and my parent moved there in the late 80's (Charles & Violet Holt). (Elbert not Albert) Holt was married to Alma Coffin and they were from Zephyrhills, not Lacoochee. Their son was Johnny Holt and John and Alma remained married until death. He was born 1884 in Decatur, Benton Co. Arkansas and died in 1975 in Zephyrhills FL. His first wife, Maud Oaks, died in 1923 in Zephyrhills. John E. was my grandfather. Hope this helps. Louie
