Thanks, but I am aware of that info and it is not correct. First, his first name was not Theodore but just Teddie and second the wife listed for him came from info I found in the Knox County Archives under a marriage to Drew Holt, but unfortunately that was a more common name in this area that I thought at the time and I I could not validate that it was truely his marriage so the info was removed from my files. The person who posted that info to OneWorld got the info from me but did not have permission to post it. Do you realize that the persons you listed in your query are not the same names as you have listed in your post. Is it Charles F. Holt or William F. Holt?
There is a Henry Holt with with wife Emma, age 35, 1845, b. Michigan listed in the 1880 census in District 177, Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, but there is not a child listed. With the info of his age and birth location: 1850 Belchertown, Hamsphire County, Massachutsetts William Holt, 40, 1810, Vt Tirzah, 35, 1815, Ma Henry W., 14, 1836, Ma Maritta, 12, 1838, Ma Cynthia, 8,1842, Ma 1860 Erving, Franklin County, Massachutsetts William Holt, 50, 1810, Vt Tizah, 44,1816, Ma Deer park, Orange County, New York P.O. Middleton Thomas Holt, 27,1833, Eng Mary A., 27, 1833, Eng Mary E., 6, 1854, NY Harriet E., 3, 1857, NY Jane M., 4/12, NY Henry, 26, 1834, Ma Can not locate Henry in 1870 with a match that is close enough to consider In the 1900 census Henry states that his parents were born in England, but I could not find a Henry with parents born in England, while he was born in Massachutsetts in the year 1835. Thomas and Mary state they they immigrated over in 1861, with them listed on the 1860 census and the oldest child being born in 1854, it a possibility that Henry is a relative of Thomas's, but it is also a possibility that the William is Henry's father. Just some thoughts. Donna
You will find your family listed on One World Tree. Search for Andrew B. Holt, b. @1863, Tennessee. Donna

He died on December 21, 1935 and is buried in the West Emory Cemetery in Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee. However, I checked the Tennessee death index today and it appears he did not die in Tennessee. Teddie Drew was my grandfather, Edward Earl Holt's next oldest brother. There were 10 children in all. I am trying to track down the family line of Henry Holt, born Feb 1835 in Mass. His first wife died in 1869. It seems his second marriage was to someone born in Michigan - name unknown. They had a daughter named Cora, born May 1879 in Ohio. According to the 1900 census, Henry was living with his married daughter, Cora Powers in Yoakum, Dewitt, Texas. They also had two boarders - William Wadkins and Freddie Meyers. It appears that Cora married William Watkins in 1901, if I have the correct person on the 1910 census. They were now living in Galveston, Texas, Ward 6. There is no sign of Henry Holt on this census. So I am assuming that Henry Holt died between 1900 and 1910. Is there a death index for Dewitt County, Texas? If so, can someone check for Henry Holt's death between 1900-1910? I would also like to find an obit and a grave site. My HOLT ancestors are of African and Indian ancestry. They also came out of Virginia and settled in Alamance County. I presume that they were slaves since I cannot find any information on them in the census prior to 1870. Who were the HOLT slave holders in Virginia prior to emancipation proclomation. I have reviewed the will of Michael Holt and find no reference to my HOLT ancestors. The 1870-1880 Census shows that Edith Holt (Ray) was born in South Carolina. He Husband Boswell Ray was also born in South Carolina arout 1815-1825. Henderson Holt is the only child of Edith that I have thus far been able to confirm. Henderson Holt was born around 1825-he married Delila. Sampson Holt, one of the sons of Henderson and Delilah married Fannie Hargraves from Virginia. Does anyone have these names in your family. Jalil
