I just ran across some papers in my file that has prisoners HOLMES listed from Ireland. the names I have are John 1837, Esther <aka Etta>1825, John no date, Bridget 1848, Thomas 1851, John 1837, Eliza <fm> 1836, Joseph 1847, Thomas 1845, Thomas 1845, James 1848, Michael 1848, and Richard 1848. If anyone is interested in the rest of the information, please contact me. I also found a list that is from Leichester Parrish that has 50 Holmes listed for birth, death, christining and marriage. I only have the names and event on this list. But it might give you a clue which Parrish to look for in Leicester County. (In Scotland I believe) Let me know names and I'll see what I have. Carolyn
