Periodically I post my WANTED Holmes family into the list hoping that among the new people who have joined us someone may recognize them. So here goes again. Samuel and his daughter Harriett are part of my husband's family. Harriett was married three times, but her first marriage to George Washington Robinson is the one that counts for our family. Her second and third husbands were 2. somebody-or other Hull and 3. somebody-or other Hatfield. She was affectionately known as Grandma Hatfield by the family in her latter years. 1. SAMUEL HOLMES, born in 1804, New York, married Lurinda ENSIGN, born in 1808, New York. 2. daughter, HARRIETT G. HOLMES born, 1835, possibly in Michigan, married in 1856 to George W. ROBINSON, born 1830 in Michigan. 3. Joseph ROBINSON, born Arkansas 3. Martha ROBINSON, born Arkansas 2. son, SAMUEL HOLMES Jr. (May have taken a donation land claim in Thurston County, WA.)
