I am trying to find information on William Holmes, a native of England who emigrated to America in an early day and served as a drummer in the Revolutionary War. He was the father of Catherine Holmes, who married Andrew Figg. Andrew and Catherine were the parents of Mary (my greatgreat grandmother). That is all the information I have on William. Beth Wehrle
