John Holmes, believed to have married first Ann Bugbee in Vermont, about 1802, then Sarah Ann Towne of Oxford, Mass. about 1807. John and Sarah lived most of their lives in Colebrook, NH and had a large family. I have heard that Sarah was dau of David Dana Towne and Elizabeth Breed but have no proof. I would be very interested in the ancestry of John Holmes. Thanks for any info. Dave Collins
