Hello fellow Holmes descendants My oldest Holmes is: Henry Holm(e)s, married 1622 at St. Paul's, Canterbury, Kent (England) to Ann Kingsland. No sign of his birth - most frustrating! You'll notice from my signature that the Holmes line in my direct family hasn't moved very far - indeed - my office is a mere quarter of a mile from St. Paul's church. I have found ONE person who connects to my enormous tree in all my years of researching my Holmes line - any other takers? I am researching Holmes in East Kent ONLY. If anyone wants searches of my Holmes database for East Kent (still incomplete after all these years), do let me know - I'll be back after the weekend.
