I have been told by my family for sometime now, that we have David Holmes (first Gov. of Mississippi) in our family line. Have also been told Mary Jane Holmes (paternal grandmother of Harry S. Truman)is also in this family line. That I am a 6th cousin to Jesse James and related to Cullen Baker. Also a John Holmes that was with Quantro Raiders. Also was told I have a g-g-grandfather that helped start and build the town of Shubert. Not sure in which state.
