Hi everyone, When I have down time I am also looking into my grandmother's side. My grandmother was Mamie Esther Tyler Holmes. She was married to my grandfather, Stanley Lemuel Holmes (he was named after his father). Mamie's side goes like this: Campbell Oliver m. Prudence Victoria (my ggrandmother) Irene Mary Jane Easther(changed to Esther) Griffin James I think they were born in Crewe, Nottaway Co.,Va Victoria Oliver married Addison Tyler Janet Mamie Iva Lee (adopted; from a Hurt family) Notes: Addison's mothers' name was Manerva. They hailed from James City Co.,Va. He had two brothers, Charlie and William. Iva Lee married my ggrandfather's son Benjamin "Benny" Holmes. That's another story.
