I don't know if I mentioned this or not in my original message, but one of the Terry's was the father of all of Nancy Holmes children. How did she get the last name of Holmes? Why didn't she name the children after the father, especially since he was their owner? What other sources are there for an individual who just started out on a venture such as this and find themselve up against the wall so soon? I do know that one of the Terry brothers sold land to one of my ggguncles, Lemuel Holmes. Where do I start to get beyond this wall? I have birthdates of most of the nine children. They were all born after 1960. Would there be records of their births? They were all born in King William Co, Va. The township was called Acquinton. Suggestions please!
