Though I don't know about Ms. Hutchinson, I do know about Holmes's in Washington County, PA, before and after the Rev. War. There is a book The Brown and Comly Families Genealogy. It has most of the story of the James Holmes (1748-1823). He and his wife Ann (Nancy) Whitaker Holmes had thirteen sons and one daughter.
