Hi- I haven't yet posted here before, so here it is. JAMES H. HOLMES b. 1800 in Lexington, MA. May have had a brother names Samuel. James's father took him from MA to NS in 1812. He was married twice. We know that the first 6 children are with the first wife, and the last two with the second, but are not sure about which wife the ones in between belong with. Jul 1, 1921, Blaine, WA. m. Margery ELLIOT 1861, m. Jane NICHOLS 1884? Hugh b. Abt. 1836; d. 1861-1866, Civil War. Daniel b. Abt. 1839, ME m. Mary ? Samuel b. Abt. 1842, ME m. ? PORTER Miriam b. Abt. 1847, ME m. ? William b. Abt. 1849, ME m. Grace PORTER Children of James H. HOLMES and Jane RANDALL STODDARD are: Steven b. Jul 31, 1854, Wade Plantation, ME; d. Apr 26, 1941, Lynden, WA. m. Eliza Jane BROWN D. Thurza Anne b. Oct 22, 1852, Wade Plantaion, ME; d. Jul 6, 1932, Boston, MA. (all children born in ME were probably born in Washburn or Wade.) Ages of Alex and Steven are accurate, but others are from census data and I believe they are off a couple of years +\- .
