I am interested in any information on the ancestry or birthplace of Hugh HOLMES of Newcastle, Lincoln Co., Maine. Hugh was a Rev. War officer and died somewhere between 1800 and 1810, presumably at Newcastle. He married ca 1760, widow Mary HOPKINS. thanks, Charles
