My line goes back to Lt. Adam HOLMES in MA in 1740. His grandson moved to IA- They had a family there including my gg gfather, Albert Sellick HOLMES. My g gfather, Louis Lorenzo HOLMES was born in IA. He moved to MN & married there. My g father was born there.
