May 22, 1841 in East Pepperell MA , married Mary Josephine Packard, Dec 24 1867. They had a son, Benjamin Henry Howard Holmes, whom they adopted out, to a Francis M and Minnie C Stimax of Stillman Valley, IL, who was my grandfather. Charles and Mary passed away in Rockford IL. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
