George, died Feb. 6, 1759, age 57 yrs. ====================================================================== [1] Baker (p. 329) cites this inscription but says "aged 93 years". [2] Assuming all information here is correct, the Samuel and Lucy buried here were 10 and 11 years old, respectively, when William was born. "Samuel & Lucy" could conceivably refer to Samuel 1st and Lucretia, but Lucretia was 48 when William was born, and Gen. Biog. Rec. of New London does not list a son named William for this couple. It seems likely there is an error here. References: Henry A.
