Which Holmes family from New Zealand are you looking for? Mine sort of started with John & Anne . they had two boy's, Thomas & Daniel & 6 Daughters.Thomas being born in 1748, and married Mary. Daniel was born in 1750 and married Elizabeth Smith.Thomas had three sons. John ,James,& Thomas ,in the parish of Gilston between 1788 & 1797.James married Susanah Parish & had eleven children. this is my side of the family.
