I am seeking any info about Roland Augustus Holmes, my paternal grandfather, son of David Holmes. he was born in Canada, migrated to US in the late 1800's, married Minnie Turner of northern New York State, was employed as brakeman for the New York Central RR, was killed in RR accident in late 1920s. Was the father of James Carlisle Holmes (my father), and Mildred Sophia Davis. Most of the rest of his siblings lived in Canada - Maude Empy, Ida Gallagher, George Holmes - all lived in Brockville, Ont., Can. Thank you - Rosemary Chapple
