Albion Gray Obituary >From "The Coos County Democrat," Weds., Sept. 5, 1906: "Central Vermont" Albion Gray, one of Guildhall's oldest citizens, passed away Saturday evening August 25th, after a long illness. Mr. Gray was born in Shelbourne, NH, March 23, 1833, being the second son of Stephen and Margaret (Morse) Gray. Soon after his parents moved to Jefferson [Coos Co, NH] where his younger days were spent. In 1852 he married Suzena Holmes and after a short residence in Jefferson and Lancaster respectively he moved to Northumberland where he resided until about eleven years ago when he moved to this town. He leaves a wife, two children and four grandchildren to mourn the loss of a kind and loving husband and father. Funeral services were held at the late home Monday afternoon the Rev. F.N. Buck officiating. The floral tributes were many and beautiful. The burial was in Northumberland cemetery. Riley Blodgett, George Whitcomb, Edward Hubbard and John Boyce acted as bearers with Richardson from Lancaster in charge. Does anyone know of this Coos Co, NH, Holmes?
