Henry Holmes, W,M,32,head, farmer, born Tn, IRE/ENG Lula (Lucy) W.F, 29, keeping house, born Indiana, IN/IN Charles, son, 7, Illinois IN/TN Johny, son, 4, Illinois, IN/TN *Trenary, H., W.M. 32, boarder/farmer, Indiana, IN/IN They are living in the same prect. and county as Thomas A. Holmes and wife Susan Jane (Parker) and 6 of their children. along with a boarder Char. Smith. In the same census in FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ash Grove Twp, Nebraska HOLMES, John- head, W., M, May 1829 age 61, md 31 yrs. Mary E.-wife, W.F., mar 1851, age 49 md. 31 yr William T.-son, W.M., July 1886 age 13 John E., - son, W.M., Mar 1889 age 11 I also know that Lou and Henry were buried in HARMONY CEMETERY, Fillmore County, Belle Prairie Twp, section 27, Strang Nebraska. ROW 9, plot #69 1- 2- 3-Francis M. Alvey 4- Peter Prior Trenary ROW 9, plot #70 1-Henry Holmes 2- Lula Trenary-Holmes 3-UNK. 4- Hattie J. Holmes (dau. of H & L Holmes) It says that HENRY died in Brownville, Nemaha, Nebraska.. Both plot 69 & 70 were owned by Henry Holmes. My great Aunt remembers hearing about Henry and Lou.. So I know they are in the family.. Would LOVE to hear from anyone with Info on this couple.. I have other info on them also. Also anyone with info regarding John ARMSTRONG Holmes and Hiram ARMSTRONG Holmes.. I am trying to find out WHERE the Armstrong name comes in.. or did everyone in our family assume it was ARMSTRONG.. since Thomas' middle name was ARMSTRONG.. could John and Hiram's middle name actually be ANDREW???
