Have nothing currently on the HOLMES family, but have a child named Lazarus HOLMES MCELHANEY. His middle name is supposedly the last name of his mother. I have him born March 1844 in Allegheny City, PA. He may have had a sister name unknown and a brother John, nothing known about him. Anyone having HOLMES / MCELHANEY lines that merger somewhere in Western PA (Allegheny/Armstrong Counties) it would be good to share information with you. Thanks Dennis
