The following notice was listed in the column for "Jefferson." Mrs. Geogiana, widow of the late William F. Jewett, passed away at the home of her son, George E. Stone, Saturday morning, Sept. 28, after a long illness and much suffering. Funeral services were held in the Meadows cemetery Monday at 2p.m., Rev. T. C. Radoslavoff officiating. Interment took place in Forest Vale cemetery. For many weeks before her death she was in the hospital at Whitefield, where everything was done to make her comfortable. A cure was not expected, as her case was one of the incurables, and only a matter of time when the greatest of all nurses, death, should come to rock her to sleep. She is survived by two sons, George and Frank Stone, and one daughter, Mrs. J. B. Frost, besides several brothers and sisters.
