Wondering is anyone is working on the Holmes famliy in Autauga County Alabama. I'm looking for info on a Henry R. (Ralph?) Holmes...born about August 1844....in "Mt. Vernon, alabama"....or perhaps Mobile Alabama.....There's a census entry for Autauga County Alabama 1850 (I think) that has some young boys....and one is a Henry. Please ...can someone solve this for me...I have a gut feeling that this Henry is mine....... Barbara....uprooting family trees in Sacramento.
