I am seeking any information on Hugh HOLMES of Newcastle. Lincoln Co., Maine. Hugh may have been born in the Bristol/Pemaquid area ca 1735. He was an officer in a local militia unit and also a Continental Army unit from Newport, RI. Hugh was married to widow Mary Hopkins ca 1760. thanks, Charles
