Willie, Here are some things you may want to check out, if you've not already done so. (1) Samuel, b. 1740 NY, d. 1796, NS. Would he have been a Loyalist and forced to relocate in NS (or possibly NB, separate from NS in 1785)? (2) The FOUNTAIN name exists in Charlotte County, NB records as well as Maine, I believe. I am researching Fountain name (Grand Manan and/or Campobello) in connection with GGGrandfather's probate records and would be interested if you have anything more on this name. (3) I do not recall the name FAWCETT in my research but perhaps I wasn't paying attention; I will now. (4) Sackville--at Cumberland Bay, near NS border, may be an area that saw a great deal of movement of not only marketable goods but families as well. To date I am beginning to find some patterns of migration of families between different areas of New Brunswick but this information is far from conclusive--just a sense of what was happening. The only thing I could say for sure is that they certainly did move about! Try Charlotte County Genweb site; there might be something there--or not! Good luck. Lucijane willbur@nemaine.com
