I am searching for some long lost cousins. Norman Holmes, b. 1913 in PA d. 1984 Melbourne?, FL. Had at least 2 sons with Vera (Boerstler?). Norman graduated from Easton High School in 1929, and may have been in the service for a while after that. He lived in Easton, PA until about 1949 when he moved to FL. At that time his older son was graduating and about to join the Navy. Have no clues as to what the sons names were. Norman was the son of Guy and Lizzie Holmes. Guy Holmes lived in Easton, PA untill about 1935, and was involved in many of the local organizations including Eagles, VFW, and American Legion. I would appreciate any help finding Norman's sons or decendents. Have had no word about them since Uncle Guy died in 1951, in Bellingham, WA. Thanks for any help! I hope you will join the list or refer any of your relatives that may be interested in furthering their search for ancestors or cousins. Anyone that is doing research in Oklahoma, and wishes to find more family should find it rewarding. >From one of the lists I'm on: Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson went on a camping trip. As they lay down for the night, Holmes said, "Watson, look up into the sky and tell me what you see." Watson said, "I see millions and millions of stars." "And what does that tell you?" "Astronomically," Watson replied, "it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets. Theologically, it tells me that God is great and that we are small and insignificant. Meteorologically, it tells me that we will have a beautiful day tomorrow. What does it tell you?" ... Good afternoon, I apologize for any duplicate postings, but I wanted to thank all who have contributed photo's to the Colorado USGenWeb site. I have it catagorized per county. We all have ancestors whom arrived in the New England area and migrated west. You will find a thumbnail & actual size photo on each county which has a hyperlink to it, and in some cases you will see a full size (larger sized) photo. I would also like to extend an invitation for all to visit the site and if you have any ancestors from Colorado you would like to contribute, please let me know. The url for the new site is as follows: http://www.rootsweb.com/~cophotos/index.htm Thank you, Jack & Addie Morrissey Remember "The Truth Is Out There" Proper Citation is essential to a credible genealogy =============== Mailto:[email protected] Our Home Page: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/5978/ PROUD MEMBER OF: G.
