I am searching for information regarding the ancestors and descendents of Eugene C. Holloway, born around 1850, perhaps in Louisiana. He died Nov. 23, 1904, and according to family records, is buried in Benick. LA. I have not been able to find that place on a map, so it may be a misspelling. Eugene married Araminta "Mittie" Maude Cowan of Handsboro (Gulfport) Mississippi (b. feb 28, 1852; d. Oct 2, 1933). They had these children: William Mercer Green, b. 1871; Eugene E. Jr., b. 1874, Archie Douglas, b. 1877; and Jasper C., b. 1886. William Mercer Green Holloway married Annie L. Smith (b. 1874; d. 1963) on June 18, 1895 in Richburg, Lamar Co. Mississippi. They lived many years in Harrison Co. Mississippi and then moved to Hattiesburg, Mississippi in the 1930's I would be happy to correspond with anyone with information about this family. Grace W.
