Dear Charlotte, I checked in my Holloway spreadsheet and found the following Jesse Holloway. He could possibly be the father of Mary Ann. Since there is no further information on Jesse, it can be assumed that he did not show up in a later SC census and either died young or moved away. This is not my research, but an accumulation of research from several Edgefield Co. researchers including myself who send info to one and he enters it all together. He lives in Utah and has access to LDS records to check censuses. As far as I know right now, Jesse is not of my line. 1- John B. (Jack) Holloway (b. 1846 McCormick SC, m. Susannah E. James Beauregarde Jennings (d. 1/11/1938)[s/o Martha Brown & Coleman Clay Jennings]) James m.2. Effie White McC jcb 2- Annie Holloway [1884](m. John Calvert) This is all I have on a Jesse other than the following which, time wise, doesn't seem to fit. Wills of Edgefield Co., SC - Jesse Holloway will probated 4/16/1818, pg 18 names sons Jesse H., Perry, Dan, Ransom, J. Milkins and daus Michael, Dolly Patsy, Nancy.
