I am searching for John Holloway (married Rebecca Ballard) lived in Mecklenburg Co., VA around 1762. His son was John Holloway, Jr. born 19 Dec. 1762 in VA. John Jr. married Anne Starling 17 Dec. 1793 in Mecklenburg Co., VA. Later, John Jr. moved to Henderson, KY and died there in 1825. John and John Jr. were my (many) greats grandfathers. George Holloway was a sibling of John Holloway Jr. I know there were several John Holloways in Virginia in the time period indicated.
