I posted a query a couple of weeks ago about Matthew Holloway and the response was **overwhelming**! Everybody was so kind. . .and I found two more generations because of the list! That means I have new questions! Is anybody out there researching in Monroe County, Tennessee? I have Minter Holloway, b. 1782, possibly in VA, possibly in Orange County, NC. There has been some speculation that he is a brother to Bremillion. He appears on the 1830 Monroe County, TN census. He married Marjory Pate and they had ten children. I only have the names of the three youngest: John A., Ruth and Matthew who all moved to Pope County, Illinois. The seven older children may have stayed in Monroe County. TIA!
