    2. Sum Total of my HOLLOWAY information. 1. John HOLLOWAY, b. ca 1794, No Car, d. after 1860 , Newton Co IN married first: UNKNOWN b. ? d. (prob) before Sep 1835 Warren or Fountain Co IN. 2. James HOLLOWAY b. ca 1830 IN (among others this family) married 2nd Elizabeth (maiden name unknown) HARDESTY 27 Sep 1835 Fountain County IN. b. ca 1803 OH, d. after 1865, Newton Co IN. Elizabeth had at least one child from first marriage named Isaac HARDESTY b. ca 1833. 2. John D. HOLLOWAY b. ca 1839 IN, d. 9 May 1863, Moscow TN as member of 99th Ind Inf. married Elizabeth Ann NOWELS, 21 Oct 1860, Jasper Co IN. She remarried after John D.'s death, Phillip H. BAKER 13 Apr 1865. They migrated to Kansas in the early 1870's. 3. Sarah Jane HOLLOWAY, b. 17 Aug 1861 Newton Co IN d. 8 Dec 1945 Cowley Co KS married Isiah Winters CRAFT 26 Jan 1879, Lazette, Cowley Co., KS. 2. William HOLLOWAY, b. ca 1842 IN, d. ca 1863 while in service with the 99th Ind Inf (as did his brother) 2. Elizabeth I. HOLLOWAY b. ca 1844, d. after 1860. I have been stymied on this family for some time and would be very greatful for information from anyone who might recognize John and know more about his first family and his background before I find him in 1830 in Indiana. Also I have no clue as to what happened to his youngest child Elizabeth from his second marriage.
