I have a Robert HOLLOWAY, (1774-1833), son of Jean [John] HOLLOWAY & Isabella [Elizabeth WHITE], who married Rebecca WELLS on November 22, 1796. They had 13 known children, and lived in Natchez Territory [Adams County, MS. John & Elizabeth were originally from Virginia. Robert had siblings Elizabeth [who m. Cady Raby]; George; William; John; Mary; James; and a child to be born abt. Dec 1781. [Elizabeth WHITE HOLLOWAY's husband John was killed by Indians October 24, 1781, and she declared she was 7 months pregnant at the time.] The widow Elizabeth WHITE HOLLOWAY then m. 2. John Stille, or Stillee, etc., and he mentioned in his will a 'son' Reuben Stille. I have been trying to prove that the child was actually my Reuben Holloway of Amite County, MS.
