Looking for other's who are related to the HOLLOWAY'S of Illinois. My Grandmother Fleeta L. HOLLOWAY, b. 10 Jan 1897 Jefferson Co. IL d. 17 Sep 1991 was the daughter of George Washington HOLLOWAY, b.28 Feb 1873 Jefferson Co. IL, d. 9 Jul 1957, South Dixon, Lee, IL ; George was the son of John R. HOLLOWAY, b. c 1843, IN; John m. Matilda Cochran b. c. 1840 KY on 4 Oct 1866 Jefferson, IL. John HOLLOWAY'S father was from TN and his mother was from IN. I would like to know about the HOLLOWAY family. I am also related to many HOLLOWAYS that married into the MEADOR family of VA and TN. Do not if my direct line is related to this group of HOLLOWAY'S. My guess is that I am but need proof.
