I really don't have much information on my great great grandmother except for the following: Her Name was Emma Alice Holloway, born September 2, 1861 in Cole Camp, Benton Co, Missouri. She died on May 11, 1926 in Crowley, Louisiana. She married a William E Hoag (not sure where he was from) born 1860, died in 1925 in Crowley, LA. I don't know if her family came from the Carolinas first and then went to Missouri or exactly what happened. Their daughter (Emma Holloway and William Hoag), Pearl Mae Hoag my maternal grandmother was born in Marshall, Saline Co., MO on Feb. 28, 1891. Died on Nov 26, 1974 in New Iberia, LA. This is very important to me, because I loved my grandmother very much and I would like to find out as much as I can about her family. I am very excited about joining this group of Holloway. I have VERY little on my Holloway Line: Texas Louisiana "Lou" Holloway bn 1850 in AL. Parents ?both born in AL. marr Robert N Chambers. Lived in Henderson Co, TX in 1880. Died in TX. Buried Davis Cemetary - Henderson Co, Tx 1889. Next to her: Gracie Holloway (1891 - 1892) dtr of JT & SA Next to her: Mrs Sallie B Holloway (1855 - 1906) Also there: Joseph W Holloway (1843 - 1889) Cynthia J Holloway (1858 - 1901) I don't know how they are related, if at all. If anyone has any Holloways in Alabama or Henderson Co, Tx, let me know. I'd look in some censuses, but I live an hour from the closest one, and they don't have an index.
