Randy was born May 5, 1955 in West Union, Ohio, the son of the late Berlyn Hohn and Wilma Hart Hohn of Peebles, Ohio. Mr. Hohn was a former truck driver for Oxford Mining Company. He was a member of New Lexington Classic Riders. In addition to his mother, Randy is survived by his daughters, Jessica (Caleb) Watts of Crooksville, Miranda Hohn of Lancaster and Jennifer Hohn of Peebles; his grandson, Collin Watts. Friends and family will be received 9:00 AM-1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 20 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE with funeral services and a celebration of Randy's life at 1:00 PM. She was born Wilda Alice Hohn in 1886 or 1887. Her parents were William Hohn and Catherine Newmeyer Hohn. They lived close to Pittsburgh PA (Irwin and Duquesne areas) before moving to Donora PA around 1900. Wilda married William Arthur Scannell on March 14, 1904. His first wife, Catherine Butcher, is my gr-gr-gr-grandmother.They were married 1-14-1937, Pike Co., OH. She was the mother of Mary, David, Elizabeth, Nancy and Hannah (my gr-gr-grand- mother). Catherine died 1850-1853 in Iowa. Enos married Rowetta (Butler) Brown 11-3-1853, Pike Co., OH. She had a son, Edward Butler Brown. Enos and Rowetta had Adam, Harriett and Samuel. They were divorced sometime after 1857, and he married Mary Jane Jarrett and resided in Mercer Co., MO. They had Susan, Ernest, Dora, Enos Augustus "Gus", Ida, Madora and Jarrett. Enos and Mary are buried in Topsy Cemetery,Princeton,Mercer Co., MO. Enos was born in NJ and went to Iowa and then MO. Sometimes the censuses have wrong info due to a spouse giving the wrong info or a person not telling the truth because back then they didn't trust strange people asking personal questions, etc. I have more info, photos and documents if interested.
