It provides some information about Miss Hoffpauir's family that I did not have, but leaves other questions that make me think that I have errors on this family. Here's the obit: KAPLAN - Funeral services for Katie Blanche Hoffpauir, 90, will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, Aug 11, l999, at Kaplan United Methodist Church. The Rev James Schaub will officiate at the services. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Mrs (?) Hoffpauir died at 1:45 am Monday, Aug 9, 1999, at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manoah A and Ella Jane Hoffpauir; three brothers, W E "Eldridge", Leo "Nookie" and Hugh HOFFPAUIR; three sisters, Mrs Samar (Clara) Simon, Mrs J O (Lilly) Plaisance and Mrs Guy (Winnie) Haynes; two half-brothers, Marvin and Ellis Hoffpauir; and two half-sisters, Bessie and Esther Hoffpauir. Visitation hours were observed from 9 am to 9 pm Tuesday and will continue from 8 am until time of the services.
