HUGHES Hughes, Ethel W., 84, of 12903 Newport Ave., Tustin, passed away Sept. 23, 1973. Survived by son Clarence Wiggs, Tustin. 3 sisters Mrs. Irene McKinney, Mrs. Ruth Donaldson, & Mrs. Dolly Nayo, [sic] all from Louisiana, brother, Sam Hoffpauir, Fair Oaks, Calif., 3 grandchildren. Service time Thurs., Sept.27, 11 a.m. to be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Tustin. Officiant Father Richard D. Thompson. Interment Fairhaven Memorial Park. Directed by Saddleback Chapel, Tustin. (Notes: I believe the use of W. for her middle initial may be a remnant of her first husband's name, Wiggs. Of her sisters' names, Nayo is an error for Mayo; I think Donaldson is also an error.)
