This may have already been addressed, but I am new to the group- has anything ever been found about Thomas Hoffpauir before his immigration? I have had no immediate trouble researching the family of Marie Charlotte Perrilard. Does anyone know what ship or port he arrived on or at least what year(at one time I heard 1754)? Is there any way to find this information? What about contacting Germany? Did they keep records at that time?
